About Janette Jackson
Janette Jackson is a Los Angeles native and spent her college years in Portland, OR, where she developed her skills as a designer and immersed herself in the local design community. After helping launch the AIGA Portland Student Chapter at The Art Institute of Portland, and later volunteering, she was able to grow the student group to, and helping build a student-run magazine called “Factory” acting as Project Manager. These experiences ultimately brought her back to Los Angeles where she continues her endeavor as a designer, also becoming involved with AIGA Los Angeles as a volunteer and most recently, a Event Producer for the Blueprint Series. She spends her free time blogging about AIGA events, design, and her inspiration. She also enjoys taking pictures to capture life’s moments and to find inspiration throughout the photos she takes. She also has a love for social media.
